The 1999–2000 season was the 11th season of the Orlando Magic in the National Basketball Association (NBA).〔(1999-2000 Orlando Magic )〕 Coach Chuck Daly was replaced by Doc Rivers prior to the season. During the offseason, Anfernee Hardaway was traded to the Phoenix Suns. They also sent Nick Anderson (who played ten seasons in Orlando) to the Sacramento Kings, while Horace Grant to the Seattle Supersonics for rookie Corey Maggette, and finally before the start of the season, Isaac Austin was trade to the Washington Wizards for the young Ben Wallace. The Magic missed the playoffs with a 41-41 record, finishing ninth in the Eastern Conference. Darrell Armstrong led them with 16.2 points, 6.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
